WHO WE ARE…      

 

q       We provide vision screenings for thousands of preschool children, adults and older adults each year to save sight and prevent vision loss.

 

q       We inform and educate the public regarding the risk of vision loss from eye disease and the importance of early diagnosis of eye problems to save sight and prevent blindness.

 

q       We inform and educate the public about the importance of eye safety in the workplace, at home, and at leisure, because most vision loss from eye injuries can be prevented.

 

Prevent Blindness Tri-State is saving sight and preventing blindness through vision screening, information, education, advocacy and research.

 

Eye Care Services For Everyone…

 

q       HEALTHY SIGHT FOR INFANTS AND TODDLERS/ help to inform and educate new mothers about the importance of healthy vision for the normal development of their child.

 

q       HEALTHY SIGHT FOR PRESCHOOLERS/ provide vision screening and other vision services for preschoolers.

 

q       HEALTHY SIGHT FOR STUDENTS/ help uninsured low-income children up to age 18 to receive free eye exams, glasses, and other vision services.

 

q       EYECARE FOR ADULTS AND OLDER ADULTS /to inform and educate adults about vision health risks due to disease, and about eye safety at work, at home, and at leisure.  To ultimately prevent unnecessary vision loss.
